Let me tell you about my childhood. My hometown was in a very rural area, and I grew up surrounded by nature. I loved playing outside and always stayed out late playing in the park with my friends.
Since I started playing soccer at the age of five, I've loved the sport! I also enjoyed observing ants and often watched them on my way home from school (笑).
Growing up in nature made me appreciate it even more, and I still love nature! I also like big cities like Tokyo (笑).
When I was a university student, I went to Vancouver, Canada, for a one-year working holiday. It was my first time living abroad, and I remember being very nervous at first. After studying English, I worked part-time at a café called Blenz Coffee.
That year in Vancouver was a precious time for me, as I felt the vastness of the world and made friends from all over the globe. However, it wasn't all fun and game; there were days when I felt anxious about not improving my English and felt lonely.
That's why I want to help people who are in Japan now or are interested in Japan, even if just a little bit.
My dream is to become a bridge between Japanese people and foreigners. I think Japan is a wonderful country with a unique culture as an island nation. However, this can also lead to misunderstandings for foreigners and vice versa for Japanese people.
Many foreigners who come to Japan may find that their experiences do not match their expectations, or they might feel a barrier between themselves and Japanese people. Therefore, I want to become a bridge between Japanese people and foreigners, helping foreigners to understand the charm of Japan and Japanese people, and also helping Japanese people to experience the joy of interacting with foreigners.
I want to help resolve the gaps and discomforts that can't be easily expressed in words.
